Took forever to put together, was excited and it doesn’t turn. Looks nice. Not a good buy. I am trying to get a refund.

The end result of this 4-in-1 Cat Wheel is 5 stars. However, I am rating this 4 stars because it advertises that assembly is easy. It was anything but easy. For reference, I have assembled over 20 items over the past six months from Wayfair and other retailers and I consider myself pretty apt at assembling just about anything. First, the pros it is a very solid piece, and works great, if my cat will actually use it as intended. The holes, screws and alignment of the parts were perfect! This was very helpful considering the other issues of assembly. It is large enough for my 12 pound Ivy and he is still taking his time checking it out. I am finding it a bit of a challenge as to where I will actually put it. For now it’s in my den. Cons it says it’s lightweight, it is not! It’s solid wood and that is a good thing. It also isn’t easy to tip or move, also a good thing. I recommend using some kind of nonslip padding underneath if you’re placing it on hardwood or ceramic flooring. The instructions leave a lot to be desired. It was all pictures and there were many sections that should have used additional written instructions. I had to undo parts several times as the pictures were difficult to discern positioning and placement of screws and pieces. I was able to figure it out due to the many items assembled and basically looking at the structure to determine what was needed. Note review the WHOLE instruction booklet thoroughly before proceeding. There are sections that are out of order to logistically fit certain pieces. For example, after the wheel is assembled and it’s ready to be placed into the base, part 10 has to be partially lifted in order for the wheel to fit into place. As well, I strongly recommend to place the wheel mat inside the wheel on a flat surface and not after it’s installed. You will need a utility knife to fold in the edges so that it fits snugly and remove the air bubbles. Don’t worry, the knife will not cut the material, it’s extremely durable. I was trying to cut off the excess material from the edges and it didn’t puncture it at all. Instead, it made the material fit nicely along the opposite edge. I haven’t placed the scratch pad yet because there isn’t a space for it to fit. It’s a very awkward shape and doesn’t fit the intended area. Lastly, use your own comfort handle Phillips screwdriver. There are a lot of screws and the one included is not comfortable at all! Overall, this is a nice cat wheel for the price and assembly took me 5 hours. Hopefully my cat will use the wheel for his exercise and cut down on his runs at top speed throughout the house! Lol!

Great exercise for my kittens. Easy to put together.

Works great my cats love it. A little on the smaller side so if you have a larger cat you might want to get a different one.

Comes in many many pieces. Is of good quality. My cats haven’t used the actual wheel yet, but have gotten on the perches. It’s pretty sturdy and also aesthetically pleasing.
