Where to begin… I was honestly expecting this to be fairly easysimple to put together. However, you literally have to put this together piece by piece and I honestly didn’t want to struggle with it. I was kinda expecting the crate to just open like a normal dog crate. I will most likely be returning this because it’s to much of a hassle.

It took a little bit to put together, but it wasn't that bad. I just put a movie on and entertained myself. My bunny loves her new penthouse! I also love the doors on each floor and on top. The door latches are good enough to keep my bunny in. That's the only thing you may have concerns about if you have an escape artist. I would just order some extra latches or if you're not going to open them you can zip tie them shut. Other than that, it's a great deal. It is not super weighted, but it is perfectly sturdy in my opinion.

I got this and other supplies to donate to our local shelter specifically for the "kitten season" that all shelters go through each year, when they're overrun with kittens and need to use outside fosters. This way someone with nothing more than an empty room can set up quickly to take on kittens at no cost to themselves. I absolutely recommend this cage for kittens up to 10 weeks, but not for older or adult cats. It just isn't big enough or strong enough to my mind for even one adult. It is sturdy enough though to handle maybe 7-8 kittens at once, has many levels/areas for different activities, has room for beds, huts, hammocks, & pads so everyone can choose their favorite place, and has multiple doors through which you can access the kittens or get in to clean. Cleaning is a BIG thing with kittens. :) All parts of the enclosure look like they would be easy clean-up too. You can wipe the vinyl floors, and I don't see anything beyond the door locks that you couldn't hose off (IF you dry anything metal quickly and thoroughly!). For the price, it's a great deal and will work well. I only gave it 4 stars because it looks like it will be quite a jigsaw puzzle to set up. A booklet with picture and word instructions is provided and it looks to be very comprehensive, but there are a lot of parts!! I guess it's provided this way so that owners can set it up in different configurations to meet their specific situations, but it would be easier if it came with larger wall & floor pieces so there wasn't so much set-up. I'll be proud to give it as a gift!

So far so good! The setup is a little time consuming but easy. Edit: After using it for a little over a month, the end of the ladder punctured the square it was resting on and when my cat jumped onto the square, it completely ripped. Suggestion would be to add rubber ends to the ladder so it's not so sharp
