Stupid cage for Stupid Parrots
My birds, fairly intelligent, will be out of this in two seconds without extra locks, but that isn’t the deal breaker.
There are Diagrams but no directions, no labels and an address for a video that didn’t play. Over all quality is not horrible, but one door hinge is broken and I had to use a mallet and a tiny crowbar tool to force a couple of pieces together. I’ve had parrots for 30 years and am experienced at putting cages together. This has been my worst experience. Before I would do it again, I would submit to an extra month of chemo, do my sister’s taxes and give up my left kidney.
I did finally finish it by using zip ties to hold pieces loosely together and getting extra tools pictured to tap, whack, bend and pry.
I didn’t pay for a high end cage, but adequate directions shouldn’t be too much to ask.
UPDATE: I had to move the cage to another house. Disassembly must have bent other parts. I had to wire some parts together because it was impossible to get everything to line up correctly. If I have to move again, this is going in the trash.
