For 1k you think it would be sturdier and pieces would be straight but it’s not! We had to fix lots of pieces just to get it together. And one door I have to lift on every time to get the lock to work! Plenty of room for two Macaws!

Stupid cage for Stupid Parrots My birds, fairly intelligent, will be out of this in two seconds without extra locks, but that isn’t the deal breaker. There are Diagrams but no directions, no labels and an address for a video that didn’t play. Over all quality is not horrible, but one door hinge is broken and I had to use a mallet and a tiny crowbar tool to force a couple of pieces together. I’ve had parrots for 30 years and am experienced at putting cages together. This has been my worst experience. Before I would do it again, I would submit to an extra month of chemo, do my sister’s taxes and give up my left kidney. I did finally finish it by using zip ties to hold pieces loosely together and getting extra tools pictured to tap, whack, bend and pry. I didn’t pay for a high end cage, but adequate directions shouldn’t be too much to ask. UPDATE: I had to move the cage to another house. Disassembly must have bent other parts. I had to wire some parts together because it was impossible to get everything to line up correctly. If I have to move again, this is going in the trash.

Missing pieces: Mallet and a heat gun which were 100% necessary to put this together. One of the locks was broken. The middle divider portion was so bent that I had to use a heat gun to warp the metal in order for it to work. All of the pieces were misaligned. The screws and bolts were thrown in one big bag. The instructions are completely unclear and they offer a youtube video but you will enjoy a nice view of the guys hands. Don't hope to get any clarification from that.
