This item is very well made. Looks exactly like the picture. The assembly instructions and materials are very well organized and easy to follow.

I’ve had this for a month, and though it seemed promising, the wood is already peeling and breaking in the corners. One month of use should not justify this, especially considering we have been taking very good care of it. Do not recommend. On top of this, an average litter box fits snugly inside making it very difficult for cats to do their business. I think it would be better as a little “home” or bed for them but not used for it’s purpose. Not happy at all with this.

So this box works great once you get it together. There is 1 part of the instructions that SUCK and the pics are wrong where to put the screws and if you do it by the instructions you actually ruin the top of your box (will contact the company). Otherwise, once it’s together it’s great. The opening is not huge. I have yet to see my taller cat get in but he is also the skinnier one so he shouldn’t have a problem fitting (but he doesn’t like closed areas either - so it’s probably just him and his fear) but if you have a pretty fat or hefty cat you may beware of that. Otherwise this box should work for you. The only thing I would say is - I’ve gotten 2 kinds of enclosures - 1 like this where they step straight into the litter box itself and 1 that has a little opening they step into prior to stepping into the litter box. So with this one they are right into the litter so you will still need a rug on the outside to clean their feet or the litter will get dispersed over your house.
