Warning, you will sweat putting this together but perfect small catio. I have three indoor cats, and moved this outside for them against a window they could use to crawl through so they can get fresh air. They love it!

my kitties are very happy with their new catio. They are all indoor cats, and this definitely beats sitting in a window. I haven’t pulled up to an open window in my bedroom. There’s a covered deck outside. That protects it from rain and sun. I can’t imagine this thing would last very long if it was exposed to the elements, the wood is very fragile. also, since I have it outside, I covered it with a roll of screen, because what it comes with is more like chicken wire. They love to sit in it at night, as soon as the sun goes down!

A lot of wood pieces sticking out like it needs to be sanded or you’ll get a splinter. There’s also fiber glass on the pieces I started taking them out and they had shiny spots on them I had to wipe down. In one spot the wood started splitting where I put the screw in. The size is good I got it for my one cat, and the shelving seems to be stable. 200 for cheap wood is not worth it. Should’ve got real wood elsewhere.

Good intro catio! Like others have mentioned, setup takes time, but we didn’t run into major issues. We reinforced the bottom with a spare piece of wood because the two pieces seemed to sink with some weight. Use an electric drill to make life easier. Kitties are enjoying it.

The catio is sturdy as we roll it around frequently to keep our kitties out of the sun. The assembly instructions need improvement...additionally, although pieces are identified by letters, it is not intuitive for which is front or back. The wooden doors do not slide easily, especially when it is humid. overall, our cats love it.
