Very sturdy stairs and platform, it works perfectly for my chihuahua to get up and down from the bed. Having the landing platform at the top of the stairs gives her space and confidence to step off the bed and then go down the stairs. It holds my 50 pound dog too. Item arrived with a wrong piece but Wayfair customer service was great and sent me a whole new box.

I purchased two of these to use as elevated feeding stations for my cats because temporary mobility restrictions make repeated bending difficult. They are very substantial, sturdy, and much larger and more furniture-like than typical pet stairs. The walnut finish looks premium, and the wide top provides plenty of room for food bowls and mats. One of my cats immediately climbed the steps, used the built-in scratcher, ate his dinner on top, and then casually walked across the back of the couch. My other cat is taking a little longer to investigate, but that is just her personality. These are doing exactly what I hoped they would do while also looking attractive in my living room. I am very pleased with the quality and functionality.

I’m speechless this item has ANY bad reviews. The bad reviews are obviously from people who did not put the item together correctly and/or were expecting Cesar hardwood for $100. For us? It’s absolutely perfect for what we needed. Our cats needed stairs to get in and out of their catio safely and it’s just perfect. Although we have a cat that loves running up and down the ramp we have another that is very clumsy and could not use it safely. This furniture is the perfect solution. Yes the stairs are not attached but we used a few zip ties to easily connect them and we can easily remove the zip ties if we ever decide to move the item. I prefer that far more than having to unscrew the stairs if it needs moved for vacuuming. For $104 it’s a fantastic value. Very sturdy. Comes with a bed that is attached with sturdy Velcro. The bed space under comes with a piece of scratcher cardboard that fits perfectly. The stairs pictured are the smaller version with three steps instead of 4. 5/5 stars. We love it for our cats needed stairs

It is solid build and good for what it is. But only comes with one mat for two story beds
