I have it a 3 because you do need a drill and even then the top seat seats for the cats and it’s taken them a bit to get used to the wobble. But they totally use it now!

Our kitties love it ! It's their favorite spot. They watch the birds and snooze on it. It's solid and well made. The screws they supply are cheap and strip easy. I also added additional screws to firm it up. As the kitties grow, will look at the " Mollie" perch as it's wider. All in all, the kitties love it and that's what matters.

This scratch post is sturdy, our cat leaps on it from across the room, it has never knocked over. He loves sleeping on the top. It sheds a lot, that's the only negative
