Cheap stuff, need sturdier double pole, the assemblage is hard even for somebody who knows how to ... Needed a few more screws well placed to make it more steady. Do not bother buying it is to expensive for what it is and you can have better product, all assembled someplace else. I had cats for 50 years, the pandemic had me buy on line, but the best product is from cloud9cattrees, the second best is from my local pet store ( no delivery but he order on line, have the scratching post assembled and delivered to his shop and you go pick it up ) it is of great quality also : Canin-Felin Expres, 148 St-. Louis, Ville Lemoyne ( Quebec ) Canada. Just hope it will help somedbody. I am not paid for this, just to help my fellow cat lovers !

The top is smaller in reality than the picture—too small for our larger cat (11 lbs) to comfortably curl up on, so she has rejected it. The base and post, although completely screwed together, are somewhat wobbly.
