Let me just start with this bed is very nice. I was expecting it to be on the smaller side but it is much smaller than I expected. My cat in the inside photos is 10lbs and don’t know how much more this could handle size wise. The instructions are rather minimal as you can see by the photo. It’s not overly complicated but I had to search the packaging for the car straps. It was trial and error for the most part. As far as safety is concerned it is fairly stable but wouldn’t hold up if your pet got overly rambunctious. The nylon straps are fairly thin. It has fabric straps for carrying when out of the car but it’s a bit much taking it apart to consider it a “to go bag”. It appears to be washable and the plush pillow insert is removable. It comes with an attached tether for clipping on a collar to keep your pet in place. I could see this being a problem if they try to jump around. Overall it is nice but you would most likely need to train your pet to sit fairly still or it could create more problems than it solves.

A nice dog car seat that offers my Lucy a soft cushiony secure place to ride with me. Pros Easy to move around from front to back, soft, comfortable with plenty of good features like extra cushion, a couple storage pockets for leash, treats, etc., a zip-down front so it gives your dog extra room or if traveling, you can zip it down for a bed. Cons Not much that I’m not happy with, but will say that it’s made in China comes with a strong smell but I put it in the sunroom for a few days, had windows open it’s fine now. Also, the pictures show the fabric to be smooth and the one I have is still wrinkled. Maybe over time it will become smooth.

The travel bed that I received is nowhere near as firm or cushioned as pictured. Ive left it out a few days hoping it would fluff up, but it hasnt. I havent tried it in the car yet, but not sure how comfortable it will be for the dog.
