Maison pour chat Clavin

Very cute - but my cat is huge and does not seem interested in it (even with catnip inside). It seemed the adhesive was a little old and not so sticky. Not the easiest assembly. I ended up taping some of the pieces from the inside to try to get it to stay better. Awfully cute even if I do have to leave the scratching pads outside for him to use them.

My cats decided to sit on the roof and caused it to collapse. I would not expect to keep it long term.

Perfect size and the added bonus is the cat scratchers. My kitties love it!

Let’s start with this thing was incredibly difficult to build! I nearly gave up and actually had to rip it apart a couple of times because I put the wrong pieces together, luckily the tape re-stuck after I did that. It is made out of cardboard and my very active cat has ripped off several of the connector tabs already but it seems to still be holding together ok. It is a cute design and rather big so you will need some room for it. I bought this with hopes that my cats would stop scratching the furniture but so far that hasn’t happened and they don’t seem much interested in the cat house at all, hopefully they will eventually.

This is a cute idea, cute house with 4 nice scratch pads which always seem to be expensive even when they are plain. So all in all I like the idea. I gave it a 3 instead of a 5 because there are some flaws. 1st the cardboard is heavy and the print nice but it needs strong tape or some type cat friendly adhesive. It doesn’t want to stay together. 2nd issue none of the cats are using it to scratch. As soon as I undid it and took the top off they were all over it. They were very interested in the structure when took it down as you can see in photos. 3rd issue priced a little high - but if you think this is the cutest - which it is really cute - and you want to spend time taping it together - it’s nice quality material and attractive.
