Cute cat house. The smell from the fir wood is overbearing so I painted it and the smell went away.my cat has approached it but hasn't went inside yet. I didn't put the wire door on as I thought my cat might think it's his carrier that he is not fond of.I would recommend this item but be aware of the smell

Very cute! Definitely doesn't stand up to any sort of chewing. So, if using for anything other than a cat, I'd reconsider.
