We bought two of the large doghouses. They were fairly easy to put together and look very nice. I would suggest a squirt of wd40 if a piece won’t slide in place though, as my husband used a rubber mallet and it did break a little piece off. The units are large and roomy, but my outside dogs only use their doghouses when the weather gets very cold, so I can’t say yet if they like them.

For the price of the product I don’t think the quality matches. It’ll work for now but it is a lot cheaper quality/flimsy than I would have expected. For smaller dogs it would probably be great but I don’t think it will hold up for larger breeds

This is an attractive dog house that looks great in our yard. It does scratch easily, as you can see in the picture (this was before the dog even used it!) It is not the sturdiest dog house I’ve had, but if you have a smaller dog that’s not super destructive, this is a good option!

This dog house came in 2 boxes and arrived within days of ordering. All parts were intact and directions were clear and easy to follow! The set up took no longer than an hour from start to finish. I’m truly not impressed with the material I imagined it to be thicker like trex it’s quite thin and flimsey like siding on a house but a bit thicker! The raised floor has my concerned as I’m o ly 100 lbs and it bows when I stand on it so I’m not to confident this will stand the time for my husky malimute dog! It states good for 2 dogs, sure I can see that if they are small lap dogs. For the price point I wouldn’t recommend the Rustic Lodge Dog House if you have a large dog !
