I encountered a few issues. The mesh back with kitty openings is about 1” too long on the bottom left, but about 1” too narrow (see photo). The Velcro doesn’t line up at all. The pre-drilled holes in the roof panels don’t line up correctly. Also lacking 2 screws for the roof. I cant mount it right now anyway, because its 7 degrees outside.

I assembled this partly outside and inside because it’s winter. I highly recommend assembling it outside in good weather when you plan on attaching it to the wall. Also, pay close attention to the instructions and where the holes need to be. Especially on the bottom. I made a couple mistakes and had to take part of it apart. Assembly was ok. The bottom boards didn’t quite fit right so that’s a negative. Also, you can’t really put the roof on correctly until it is hung on the wall. It seems sturdy but I’m not sure if it will hold up well long term. The wood floor is thin and I feel like if it gets wet, it will warp. The roof is plastic not metal. It screws into the metal frame. You will need a drill because some of the screws have to be drilled into the frame - there aren’t predrilled holes for everything. I think my cats will enjoy this once the weather is better but again, I’m not sure how long it will last.

I didn’t finishing installing it in my window because I don’t see how it’ll sit flush with the trim and sill going around the window and I don’t want a gap between the house and the catio because I worry that bugs or rodents would be able to get in to the house. Overall it’s really sturdy but the mesh that goes on the house side is only held on by Velcro, another reason I feel like it needs to be flush to the house. I also wish there were more screws to secure the roof, I feel like it didn’t include enough. Until I figure out how to attach it to the house without missing up my window trim, I think I’ll use it on the ground as a little shelter for neighborhood cats, maybe with some blankets and water and food. It’s a great idea and well constructed but missing some extra consideration on the final install.

Love this for my kitties, great size. I did have a little issue when putting it together a screw was in the was so I had to take it out, hopefully I dont have issues. The net i wish it was all around I just do t want flies or other bug in with the The net is for the windows entrance so I will go buy some window screen and attach all around. All around it perfect to the cats to go and get some fresh air and sun in summer. perfect for about 2 grown cats.

Very heavy and materials seem to be good quality. Be aware that this requires anchoring to your outdoor wall - I want to try to avoid this which and am still trying to figure out a way around this. I don’t want to drill into my brick foundation
