This gate worked extremely well for us when we needed a way to keep our 3 huge dogs (1 is 88 lbs) away from our contractors. Stayed firmly in place without being screwed into the wall and was very secure when you lower the little lever that locks it in place.

it is holding up so far and I like that I do not have to screw it into the sides of the wall permanently in order to assemble. Someone assembled it for me and he said it was easy enough. My fault as usual for not reading the dimensions properly as it fit. width wise perfect, perfectly fine, but I definitely wish that it was taller as they claim cats cannot climb it lol but one of mine tried to before I stopped him, and I feel like he couldve gotten over it if he really wanted to, or if I had more agile cats. So I get that they just say its extra tall and they are not claiming that it is a floor to ceiling gate but yeah, it could definitely be taller because theres quite a bit of clearance between that and my 9 foot ceilings. But its working for now.
