It’s cheap wood. Directions are simple to understand for the most part. I think this is great for chicks but adult chickens will not be happy. And I dont suggest putting it outside in the weather until you protect it somehow, Its not weathered.

So let me start by saying this is not made for a lot of chickens. I would say 2 chickens the most or one rabbit. You could raise baby chicks in it , but they would have to be put in a larger area after they reach a certain age. I will be using this as a chicken hospital or to raise some baby chicks and then put them in a larger place. What is nice about this coop the tray on the bottom is removable for easy access for cleaning. Once you open the lid you are able to lock it in place so that it doesnt come down on you. There is also a divider that you can use to house the animal on one side and a sleeping area on the other side of the divider. Took about 30 minutes to put together. Shipping was fast .

I am so disappointed with this chicken coop/rabbit hutch. First off, I don't think this thing is big enough for a chicken to fit in and isn't really an adequate size for a rabbit either. Next, it is very flimsy. The wood is thin and I can't imagine it holding up for very long. Finally, the legs are really wobbly and I'm not sure it would hold up with much additional weight added. It is very cheaply made and not at all sturdy. The top is held on by little screws that will likely pull out if the wind were to catch it or if you opened it with any force. If I had to find a positive, the removable tray at the bottom would make cleaning easy. My suggestion would be to continue looking for a cage other than this one.
