I liked the pricing and the item seems functionally okay. My only concern was the closing of the lid for younger hens, might be a problem if one young hen stepped off the treadle while another was eating from the side. Also some sections of the metal edges need to be smoothed. I ended up keeping it with other unused items - mainly out of safety concern for smaller hens.

Directions to put this together are not accurate. One of the steps does not show some of the hardware used to put this together. I had to look at the photos on Wayfair to figure out why I couldn’t get it together properly.

Seems built well... but it is loud clanking and bright. The girls dont even like that side of coop now... it has been 5 days now. Not working out
