June 9, 2026 update: it's absolutely not leather but it is wearing fine. I took the made-to-be-removed inserts out, threw it in the bathtub with laundry soap and washed the soft inside fabric and it took vigorous scrubbing very well. Still recommend this seat. Original August 2025 review: Looks great and the option to collapse it is great. Says it's leather but I don't really think it is. Nevertheless, appears to be of good quality.

Just put it all together. I think it’s pretty nice for the price. Let’s see what my newly adopted Yorkie thinks. We’ll let you know!!

I like that it’s big enough for my 15 lb pug. It’s also very sturdy and the seatbelt goes around it well. I think my Marge is safe and that’s what I need.
