I bought this not as a tent for a dog, but, as a cover to prevent damage to my portable generator, when using during bad weather. I haven't actually used it during a weather incident, as of yet. I did set it up and ran the generator inside of it, to make sure the generator's CO detector didn't trigger and shut it down. It passed that test perfectly, and, judging by how it looks, I'm pretty sure it'll work fine during rain or snow. It was considerably cheaper than the protection tent made by the generator's manufacturer, and appears to be simpler to set up.
