The chicken coop is a great product, perfect for beginners and experienced chicken owners alike! The construction was straightforward and the instructions were easy to follow. It took about 4 hours to build. It would be perfect for a backyard. The run is small so I wouldn’t have more than 6-10 chickens if you’re not planning to free range. We will free range so I would be comfortable housing more in there. It is convenient height for collecting eggs and cleaning out waste. The doors stick some, but I can sand it down and repaint it pretty easily. This is a great product I would recommend to anyone looking to have a backyard flock.

Overall, its a nice, spacious chicken coop, but it definitely is not perfect. First, the assembly instructions can be pretty unclear at times. Example- I accidentally installed one of the nesting boxes backwards because the floor install step was not clear in the instructions so my boxes are on the interior wall instead of the opening (luckily, it works fine for my setup and is t a big deal). My biggest complaint is the slatted flooring on the top level the gaps are wide enough that a chick could easily get its leg dangerously lodged, so I am planning to close those slots off. Additionally, the included locks are pretty flimsy and definitely wouldnt survive a raccoon attempt, so plan on buying heavier-duty latches for every single opening. Lastly, it lacks an internal roosting bar. Since chickens naturally want to sleep high up, they will end up sleeping in the nesting boxes instead of using them for laying. To fix this, I’m removing the boxes on one side to install a proper roosting bar. Its a great starter coop, but be ready to customize it for safety and comfort!

A well made chicken coop. It comes mostly in pre assembled sections making assembly relatively easy. I had a couple areas where I messed up and had to back track so read the instructions twice over and look at the pictures closely. It’s very nice and it took two of us probably 3 or 4 hours to assemble.

Our chicken ladies love this coop! First one in explored it and the other three followed after her. This chicken coop is a great size for at least 4 chickens, which is what we have, and possibly even 6. Highly impressed with the size and design, as the nesting boxes proved beneficial compared to previous ones we have had. The upper deck setup is also much better than ground-level, especially for cleanup and space-saving. Excellent coop for space and design!

It is pretty cheaply made and needs extra work to reinforce the walls and windows to be safe for chickens.
