I had difficulty finding a pet carrier that was within the small measurements established by one of the airlines . . . not within the contiguous 48 states. The Dome, though not one of the "approved" airline pet carriers, had acceptable measurements which allowed me to put my two small dogs into the same carrier, rather than into two carriers. It was a lifesaver. The airline didn't ask if the carrier was "airline approved," they just wanted it to fit under the seat in front of me, and it did.
My only complaint with The Dome is that, unlike its promotional photo, it does NOT stand upright unless it is fully zippered shut. I would have preferred that one or both of the dogs could have used The Dome as a day bed when not traveling.. Keith. Palm Springs, CA. Sat Aug 16 2014
