This shoe shelf is sturdy and holds a good number of shoes. However, the designated boot-storage shelf is significantly too short for tall boots. I included a photo of one of my boots, which reaches a couple of inches below my knee and is approximately 16 inches tall. The shelf clearance is only 13.8 inches, so the boot does not fit. Looking more closely at the online product image, it appears to be AI-generated and does not accurately reflect the usable boot-storage space. In addition, before placing my order, I used Wayfair’s online chat to ask whether the short shelf could be installed on the left side rather than the right. I was told it could be installed on either side. That information was incorrect: because of the placement of the attachment holes, the shelf can only be installed on the right side. I had planned a specific location for this unit based on the listed short-shelf measurement and the ability to choose its orientation. Because the actual configuration requires an additional four inches in a different direction, I had to rearrange furniture to make it fit.

I love it! Make my under the stairs closet organized and I gained lots of space. It fits many pairs of shoes and you can use it for other items as well.
