This item had the lid so tight over the normal seam. We had to use a rubber mallet and wood block to pry it off...

I absolutely love this beautiful can, but you certainly have to have the space for it

I did have a little problem finding liners for it that would fit correctly but not that big of a deal. I have really loved this trash can.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago and it works great! Stainless steel so it won't rust for ideal outdoor conditions. We use it to put our kids diapers in on the porch. It is tall enough to keep animals and rodents out and durable enough to be left outside. We love our trash can.
