It is made of very thick plastic, so no need to worry about it breaking when subject to heavy usage! It almost locks on to the trashcan, so I do not need to worry about it falling off during the day. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a month or so ago to try. Easy to set up, love the deep black color. Tall and slender so doesn't take up a lot of space. Fits most larger trash bags. Love how the lid is designed just drop trash in and it closes back on its on. Highly recommend.
