Easy to put together. Very sturdy and strong. It has 3 different heights where you can put the metal rack that holds the wood shelf, putting the rack height at 36 3/4" or 38 3/4" or 40 3/4" (without the shelf on). The wood shelf is a little more than 1/2" thick, so add 1/2" to each of those to determine at what height the upper appliance (dryer) will sit. It's possible to not use the wood shelf, as the metal rack is sturdy enough. For me, it was too wide to fit the spot I had in my kitchen, as the dryer vent sticking out of the wall kept me from pushing the entire rack close enough to the back wall. Return shipping is about $17.
