Very thick with good strong elastic to wrap around tire seems to fit well. Have not had any strong winds yet but I feel like they will work fine. Some had said they ran small but ours fit to our measurements.

I bought this pair of covers last month. It was the second pair that I've purchased for my 5th wheel camper. They are very easy to install and fir well. It's a small price to pay to prevent UV damage to my tires. If these wear out, I'll order more.
