This is a great tool for smaller projects like pillows, etc. It cannot handle any thick fabric or odd sized items. But, it got the job done for my pillow shams that had ripped and it was too much to hand sew.

I wanted to love this but I can’t get it to sew. I have plenty of experience with full-size sewing machines. I cannot get this one to sew! This arrived with test fabric already inside. When I added the batteries and attempted to use it, it appears to operate fine however, it will not catch the thread through the fabric, therefore, it does not sew. I found a YouTube video to troubleshoot the issue. I read and re read the instructions multiple times and it should be straightforward but there seems la to be an issue with needle catching or needle arm height. When arm raised all the way you can barely get the fabric under the needle. I have tried for 2 weeks to figure out what the issue is, I am very comfortable with sewing machines and was really looking forward to using but I cannot get it to work for me. Maybe mine was faulty.
