My daughter loves it. It's very helpful.

We received ours as a baby shower gift and used it daily for the first year of our baby's life...until the pedal to open the lid broke just out of the warranty window. We were able to still use it, but had to manually reset the pedal every time. Eventually the entire plastic assembly broke on the bottom of the can, so the pedal fell off and it became too difficult to use. Diaper Genie can't do anything since it was a shower gift and it broke just past a year of us having it, so we have since switched to a different brand.

I honestly bought this steel diaper genie as an adult that became suddenly disabled, and needed a neat, smell-free way to dispose of my diapers/wipes/bed pads that didn't feel embarrassing and wasn't obvious to everyone. And I knew it was going to work well because I have a Litter Genie for my spoiled little cat, and it works like a charm. My only qualm as a goth girl is there's not an option for black or a darker blue or something.
