I probably overpaid but this is a really beautiful and sturdy piece that will uplift whatever room you choose. I originally wanted this beside my front door but even having the measurements it was still larger than I imagined. i ended up putting it in my office, and instead of using it for shoe storage, using it as supply storage. the shipping is a different story, it took a really long time to arrive. it's already assembled and was well packaged in a wooden crate. for the price, the shipping company really should of discarded the wooden crate. its been a pain to disassemble and throw away. definitely need muscle to take it out of the crate and discard of crate
