It is the perfect weight to feel well made. The cross bars were molded into the u-frame which makes it look more expensive. It lost a star due to the packing which was just a box with no packing. When I received it there was a small dent in the portion that attaches to the wall but we used a soft mallet and hammer to push it back into shape.

We bought this as a shelf for bathroom towels. It was more difficult to put on the wall than we had expected, kept getting out of square. But once up it looked great.

So perfect for towel storage without taking up cabinet space.

This was not easy to install and I'm also not sure if ours was defective, but the distance between the top two screws and the bottom two screws were not the same and therefore the plates were not perfectly vertical. Rather than return it, we did install. The metal bars were a little flimsy feeling, would expect that more from a $35 towel rack than an $88 rack on sale for $65. But the shelf is holding towels, not bags of flour. The towel rack looks great and the size, 26" wide is enough to hold two towels on the top shelf as well as the bar. Happy with my purchase.
