It's exactly what I had been looking for! Just wish the cubbies were felt lined. Had to do that myself.

I love this jewelry box: the color, the design, and the wood. What I really love is that the inside doesn't stink. Oof! The original one I ordered had such a horrible smell, I tried spraying it with odorizer, leaving it out in the sun, but it would still wake me up with the smell during the night. This box has very little scent and, even though the wood is stained (beautifullly), it has a natural smell. Other features I enjoy is that the two top box sections easily lift to retreive the objects underneath. One thing I do is to leave slightly open clasp-on-connector to avoid making noise taking out a piece of jewelry. The dust still stays out. Two things I've changed or noticed: I've put a rubber-type counter protector underneath as it is possibly a bit harsh on my dresser top, plus I've noticed one side piece is a bit loose. I'll have to pound a tiny nail into it soon. Otherwise, really beautiful. Lovely piece. Thank you, Designer.
