Absolutely gorgeous countertop! Love all the warm tones in the wood and the prominent grain. Feels substantial - love the thickness of the countertop and the weight. Planning to use this as a shelf in my laundry room so I needed something sturdy and beautiful to support all of my laundry products. Looks expensive and will really upgrade my space.

OVERALL: Recommend for those looking for a butcher block material. PRO: Beautiful color and graining. The item is oversized so ships in the manufacturer box, but arrived well as it was well packaged with plenty of padding and also shrinkwrapped inside. CON: Not a huge con, but note that you have to stain or oil the wood within 48 hours of removing the shrink wrap.

Absolutely beautiful butcher block Board! It is perfect in my kitchen and it matches perfectly with my butcher block countertop! I was so excited to find this and it’s super heavy duty and beautiful! I love how you can use it however you want!

This dark walnut stained 12in solid wood butcher block shelfcountertop is beautiful. It is thick and substantial. If it being mounted as a shelf I I would recommend to secure it to studs and use reliable fasteneranchor system. I initially was planning to use it as a floating shelf but because it is thick and heavy I am considering using it as the topper to a window bench seat. This came free of damage and was delivered quickly.

We have purchased butcher block countertops from Wayfair before and have never been disappointed. They are wonderfully large and fit well over countertops, also sturdy and much more functional than standard "cutting boards". we love it.
