I bought this backpack in 2023 to use for work. Lately, I’ve become obsessed with finding the perfect carryon with good capacity, waterproof, light-weight, multiple compartments and durability. Having purchased at least 6 new luggage, I suddenly realized the gem that I’ve been sitting on for years is what I’ve been looking for obsessively. I’m returning the others because my High Sierra Powerglide has met my requirements and more. The wheels are like new, the stowaway backpack straps and setup is the Bagsmart Blast Rolling duffle selling point. Just think that my Powerglide had that feature all along. I’m am one happy traveler. The capacity is 40L and it can fit my 16 inch laptop and a portable monitor plus clothes. What more can I ask for?

Very disappointed to find that "fits most 17" laptops" did not apply to my own laptop. In fact, so much sticks out of the designated laptop pocket that I wonder if any 17" laptops fit that pocket at all. In order to fit my laptop, I have to wrap it in clothing and put it in the much less padded main compartment, which is less than ideal. Additionally, the bag could use some additional, shallower pockets or compartments or smaller size zippered pockets to hold things like passports, wallets, or small tech items without forcing the user to rummage in deep pockets. As it is, I am contemplating buying a smaller bag to put in this bag to make it functional.

I absolutely love this backpack. I can pack enough for at least two weeks, it rolls well and fits even European overhead bins. I use compression cubes and do not check bags and along with my personal item traveling has never been so easy. (I have not used the backpack feature as that is for emergency use only and so far I have not had any emergencies.) The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is the back flap that is used when in backpack mode does not stay zipped up and there is a great potential for it to get ripped, especially if the bag is checked. I rigged up a strong elastic cord to go through it to keep it in place and so far it has taken three trips, two to Europe. Next trip to Iceland in the spring!

Very sturdy, lots of compartments, rolls easily. The handle moves up and down smoothly. It's a little heavy, but hopefully that will mean it is more durable in the long run. Fits my middle schoolers many books, computer and lunch, with room left over for a change of clothes. Water bottle fits very well in the side pocket.

Got this over 2 years ago..nice bag but too large to fit airlines overhead bins
