Pedal broke on day 6- useless now

Foot opener broke after a short period of use. Would not recommend this product.

The bottom support frame is not stable over smooth flooring of the kitchen and it slides down all the time as you press to open the item. This is unbelieving experience of the item. Designer need to improve the product's bottom part as an improvement. See my picture as a non-skidding mat had to be installed under it and it looks horrible as I use the same. Do not recommend to buy this for a smooth kitchen floor. I wasted money on this item

We are very disappointed in this trash can. It was delivered on November 15, 2022 and broke the second week of March 2023. This is not acceptable especially when the price was $81.13 before sales tax.
