I really take no pleasure in posting negative reviews, but I do want to be honest in my assessments, so others can purchase wisely. This shed has numerous issues that definitely do begin with the absolutely terrible assembly instructions. It is all just basic diagrams, with no written guide. Many times during the build we had to backtrack, and disassemble, because we installed a piece out of order or upside down, and none of that is clear in the photos, only later after you get to another step do you realize the mistakes. The roof is definitely not weather proof. The roof panels overlap each other and secure only at the walls, meaning water will absolutely seep between them without further waterproofing. The trim piece that’s meant to hold the roof panels down don’t have enough holes in it to properly attach it, so it doesn’t sit flush and bows out. The roofing screws are too short. They aren’t long enough to grab the siding sheets and it’s leaving gaps in the corners. The lock included has no place to actually latch onto the shed, so it’s useless. There’s a whole bag of screw caps that it never once tells you to install, and they cannot be attached after the build. We have built the shed but until we get it leak proof it will be staying under our covered back patio. We will need to buy sealant and self tapping screws to reinforce the whole thing before we feel it will be able to handle our Colorado winters. Lastly, don’t be fooled by the item description. This is not a 5’x3’ shed. That is only the size of the roof, which overlaps the shed sides. The shed is only 30” deep! I didn’t notice this in the description, which is my fault for not being more thorough in my shopping, but I saw the item title stating 5x3 and just assumed. I am including a couple pictures of the inside sliding door, so anyone else trying to assemble this can see what it’s meant to look like. Hopefully this helps you more than the rudimentary instruction drawings.
