Darker wood than picture and has some waves that aren’t well done. Maybe it is a defective item. I will be asking for an exchange or return. Item is very heavy, has potential if it was crafted well, this piece however is not

This is real pretty but real terrible design. It does not mount flush with the wall but leans forward off the wall. My husband had to use shims to get it to sit level

Wouldn't recommend these shelves. While they are heavy and not bad quality, they are too small. Because of the waviness, less fits than you think.
