Reading is fundamental because I had no idea this was recessed wall decor until I took it out the package, and I’m not committed to cutting a hole in my wall for installation. However, the box is made of good material and seems very sturdy. It would be aesthetically pleasing in a hallway, living room, or office.

It’s gone be a nice addition to my shower. It gives it a sleek modern look and also allows me to have a spot to place some of my belongings that goes in the shower such as soap and towels. Also matches my black accessories in my shower

This black shower niche has a flawless finish and matches my master bath hardware perfectly! I plan on putting it at the end of the vanity to hold a small plant and toothbrush holder. The packaging it came in was amazingly sturdy. I’m leaning toward having my contractor install it lengthwise. And will add another pic when my bathroom project is complete. I definitely recommend this high-quality niche!

This Matte Black Niche is AWESOME! I purchased a 2nd one for the adjacent wall and will be installing it as soon as it arrives. I turned the 12"W X 14"H niche 90* so it would be longer verses taller. One of the photos I shared shows how well the large 2 liter bottles of shampoo and conditioner fit into the 12"H X 14"W niche. The installation was easy and I really like the look of this niche in my master-bath with the vintage white 4" square tile, especially along with the existing matte black WayFair glass shower door. This is a very nice niche. We used schluter board shower niches for our other remodels and they were not this nice or easy to install. This went in very easily, just used 2x4's in the wall for support. It gives a very clean look and I like there was not any tiling or grouting to do except for the edges.
