Armoire de rangement pour chaussures en bois 20 paires

I love putting furniture together because I'm a weirdo like that. Over the years, I have assembled countless pieces of other brand furniture for friends and family as well, all by myself. And never, have I ever, disliked putting together a piece of furniture until this one. Pros: There are no "raw" edges so you don't have to keep checking to see if the front is facing the front. The piece is sturdy and looks nice. Cons: Buckle up, folks. You need a magnifying glass and a flashlight to read the instructions. I wish I was joking but I'm not. There is a top and bottom section of visual instructions which SHOULD BE enlarged to cover the front AND back of the page but, nope. Next, good luck getting part "G" in. Grab a hammer. Good luck trying to make heads or tails of the graphic for the hinged piece as to whether it is 6, 7, 8 or 7, 6, 8 or...Never mind. Good luck. Good luck NOT cracking any of the pieces because: 1) The screws for the sides, part 2 and part 3 are TOO LONG but you don't know that until you have gone through the other side. Too late, oops. If you DON'T tighten those little rectangular pieces that "stop" the draw from falling forward, you have a shaky stopping point. NG. 2) You will, no matter how hard you try, also crack each and every one of the white boards in one place or another. There are no predrilled holes in these and you have to find the sweet spot to attach them juuuuust soooo and, oops. One turn too many without warning and...Cracked. Also, if you DON'T tighten them all the way, slipping and sliding. You can't win. Have I mentioned luck yet? Because, good luck putting this together by yourself as I did. From unboxing to completion took two hours. The most "fun" part was balancing each drawer in order to attach them to the inside WHILE putting the screw inside and trying not to drop it or the other side of the drawer. Thankfully, I have a magnetic screwdriver which helped TREMENDOUSLY to at the very least guide the screw in where it had to go. I would have given this one star but got the piece at a great sale price. At least now I know why it was deeply discounted. Saving $ is great! This piece, not so much. I cannot put the piece sideways in the space I ordered it for since both sides are cracked from the too long screws. What a terrible experience all around. Edited to add: I am VERY petite with teeny tiny feet. I ordered this specifically to fit 20 pairs of shoes since it is advertised as such. That's a huge NOPE. I can fit flat sandals in it ONLY, otherwise, it doesn't close. So, three pairs of sandals on top and then two pairs of barely ankle height boots (forget about heels altogether), laying sideways, two to a shelf, squished in. Unless of course, you want the drawers open all of the time, have at it with fitting anything over a women's size 5 shoe in this thing. I'm changing my review to one star because of this. It does NOT fit 20 pairs of shoes unless maybe your toddler is an Imelda Marcos.

Exactly as pictured ! Great quality. Sturdy. The only con is that it does not hold 20 adult size shoes .. you can fit two pairs on each row ..
