We love it! Very solid. Looks so clean and smooth we had to cut ours shorter but that end was going against the wall. If you have to cut it, just know we burnt ours and it wouldnt sand out. I havent added a food grade sealer yet. ) youll be happy with this purchase.

Beautiful piece of wood. Its finished on all 4 sides, so it could be used freestanding. I bought it to hang on a wall to hold 4 large heavy ceramic vases. These 4 vases are museum-quality pieces, so they deserved a similarly remarkable shelf. The 48 inch shelf is quite heavy and needs substantial metal brackets screwed into studs. I chose elegant but sturdy brackets as well. I will post a photo when the installation is complete. I expect the result to be stunning.
