This was a great find, solid wood I will say one hinge came broken but still works perfect

Have built one of two so far. Nice solid wood. Not a huge fan of the plastic inserts twist in design for the construction, but you get what you pay for. There were a few parts that didn’t want to tighten down when it got to the trim. Had a hinge screw head snap off and another strip, but overall happy with it, will see how it holds up.

This trunk has been so versatile and a great storage piece- we’ve mostly used it to store board games in our living room- and to block our toddler from climbing in the fireplace!

I love the solid wood construction! There is no way this is being assembled without a small drill. The accessories can be put on with a screwdriver. The few predrilled holes do not always correspond with the items being put on. Have a ruler, pencil, starter and hammer ready. Be cautious the screws are poor quality and strip out easily. Parts of the closing mechanism are plastic, one broke during assembly.
