The shelf itself is gorgeous, but the support bars that came with it were horrible. I had to buy additional L brackets to put underneath the shelves to support them correctly.

This is a gorgeous shelf! I purchase two and took the advice of another reviewer to be sure that proper blocking was installed by my GC so that they would be properly supported. These are substantial and worth every penny!

This shelf is very pretty and exactly what I wanted in my kitchen. Its solid wood and VERY heavy. I got the 12 x 24 shelf. You will not be able to secure it to the wall into 2 studs since the holes in the bracket are not 16 apart. Maybe securing to one stud is enough Luckily, Im building a home so the builder said he will add wood in the wall to support the weight.

The shelves sag even when there is nothing on them and the mounting bars are level and in studs. Disappointing!

The shelf works nice. No problems at all.
