I really like how this looks in my hallway. A great value for the price.

The Bamboo Shoe Rack looks exactly as pictured. It fits neatly in our foyer; so, it serves its purpose well. Yes, the piece looks attractive. Unless you're very handy, I recommend paying for the assembly. While the assembled piece looks attractive and stores shoes nicely, I have to say that it is rather flimsy. If you handle it gently, it'll probably last a while. But, if it gets heavy usage, and especially if it is used roughly, the piece may not last that long. Also, if anyone in your household has big feet, their shoes may be too long to fit on the shelves. For example, my son is a Size 13. For his shoes to fit in this closet, we had to remove the back. That's actually an option because if the shoe closet is up against a wall, no one can see that the back has been removed.

Overall it is decent for what it’s for. It holds a good amount of shoes. Especially if you stack them. The quality is nice. Much better than the particle board that just about all furniture is made of now. The cons are that one of the doors was damaged, there are frayed ‘splinters’ more like shards splitting on multiple places. There wasn’t enough hardware included to put it together, I had to go find screws that would fit to complete it. The biggest kicker for me was the ‘instructions’ if you’d even call them that. I have seen better instructions on 4.00 box hair dye. It took 2x longer to assemble due to the instructions. I’m still giving this 4 stars because the issues aside from the instructions were just situational and just mistakes made somewhere along the line of packaging. They don’t directly affect the functionality of the cabinet.

Instructions are confusing and hard to read. There is little to no customization for the shelves because you'll mess up the drawer and door placement. I wanted to store my tall boots on the narrow side and was not able to because of this. The packaging has no padding or protection, so some of the pieces were damaged from shipping. Definitely was not worth the price.

I was very excited to get this assembled and displayed in my home. I love putting furniture together! Unfortunately, I was shorted screws and will now have to go to my local lumber store to replace the missing screws.
