Very impressed by the design of this trash can. It doesn’t have one of those unnecessary inner liners most cans seem to have, which is a huge plus for me. If a bag leaks with this one all you have to do is take off the top containing the opening mechanism and rinse out the bottom before replacing the top. Simple. It’s all made of some pretty thick plastic, so it feels quite substantial and solid. The opening mechanism works perfectly but, of course, the true test is how long it lasts. We’ll see. I also wanted it to be made of plastic because the stainless steel models are so easy to dent, and then what can you do? No worries here. I’m actually coming from a 20-year-old Rubbermaid unit with a little swinging door, so I’m making quite a jump in quality and technology here. It’s about time. Wish me luck! ;-)

I had a stainless steel trash can that was a total disappointment! This one looked nice online AND in person. Very clean lines, has an auto lift lid with 2 D-cell batteries, and I love it's simplicity.

Works really well, not a huge fan of the white color but the color I wanted was sold out. But I still love it!
