I understand this item was purchased during a sale, but discounted pricing does not justify shipping damaged furniture. The burden should not fall on the customer to repair, repack, or navigate a complicated return process for an item that should have arrived intact. This situation also resulted in wasted time and additional inconvenience. I had scheduled a professional service to install the shelf, which now cannot proceed due to the damage. That time and coordination were lost through no fault of my own. Based on other reviews reporting similar issues, this appears to be a recurring problem related to packaging and quality control rather than isolated shipping damage. If you receive this piece undamaged, it’s lovely. However, buyers should be prepared for potential damage on arrival and a customer service process an empty apology with no effective solution that does not further inconvenience the buyer.

Beautiful. Slightly damaged from shipping but not enough to send back. Everyone loves this.
