I bought this 270-gallon deck box to replace another one that I had purchased only 2 years back, which was already cracking along the sides and had a lid that was warping. This deck box appears to be much sturdier and better constructed. The plastic feels stronger and more durable than the previous deck box, and the overall construction looks more long-lasting than my previous deck box. It also provides plenty of storage space for garden stakes, string lights, decorations, and other outdoor items. The lockable lid is also a nice feature for keeping things protected (I found that the Master Lock 510D lock works the best with this deck box). Assembly was fairly straightforward, although the directions are textless and strictly based on drawings (pay special attention to the direction of the end posts when attaching them and also to which side you're attaching the lock parts on the lid). Keep in mind, you will need two people to install the lid properly. Overall, I am very happy with this deck box so far. Compared to the one it replaced, this one feels hardier, securer, and better made. I expect it to hold up much better over time and handle outdoor use without the cracking and warping problems I had experienced with my previous deck box.
