Wood itself is real and quality of work not bad but it’s a hollow with only half an inch thick finish

Terrible craftsmanship. All holes have blowout. Glue drips everywhere. The surfaces all have marks from production, gouging and bulging. Nothing is square or even. The inside structure is so bad and shows zero effort. I have to return this, or strip and refinish this entire thing from the ground up. It’s genuinely the worst product I’ve seen presented as ‘new’ if someone told me it was pulled from a barn floor straight into the box, I might believe them. Why is every step so poorly attempted?
