First, for $75 we like the end result. Note that my size 9 shoes just fit in the cabinet. My spouses size 12 shoes do NOT. See photos. My spouses shoes are on top not in the cabinet which is fine for us. The cabinet is pretty to look at, pretty sturdy, very thin wood, not for heavy objects. Second... I would not buy again, BECAUSE the instructions were. horrible, we spent five hours putting it together. We are both in our 60s and have put together MANY products using instructions that are badly written, this is by far the worst... 1. The instructions were so light we had to photocopy them to darken them up to be readable. 2. No labels and the parts which are quite similar to each other have key differences (notches in the wood are a aslightly different size, presence/absence of small ridges, holes that are crucial to putting it together and the vivsuals are poor, not indicating these subtle diffs. We had to dismantle part of the cabinet twice as we realized we were using the wrong parts. 3. The instructions are nearly absent -- mostly the poor visuals that do not distinguish among the parts, and some sentence fragments -- and the instructions have errors --- for example, interchanging words "lower" is substituted for "layer which is pretty important for a cabinet assembly. There is no step for attaching the doors, the doors magically appear in one of the steps. 4. References to "suction cups" (they mean magnets to keep the door closed). 5. NOTHING is assembled, down to metal plates on the door and the other hardware. It would have really helped us ID the parts if those were pre-assembled. 6. At a certain point we gave up on the instructions and just referenced the pictures on Wayfair. 7. The assembled piece is nice but not entirely square, careful as we were. The back piece at the top (ornamental( has a different amont of space on one side vs the other. The rightmost door is sticky We put our less-used shoes there to minimize use. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS AGAIN -- not because we don't like the product but because it was so complicated, confusing, and b/c the instructions were horrific.
