It was kind of a pain to assemble. The parts all generally snap together. But there is no satisfying click to let you know the parts are in good position. Initially, its easy for the parts to not be fully in place. You need to do a lot of examination as you go to make sure the parts are sealed perfectly and thats important because later steps will make you rage if some parts are slightly off. You need to look at where the parts are suppose to click and really need to make sure they are tight otherwise at later stages you end up dismantling large chunks to redo. 2nd biggest issue for me is that I had intended to put shoes in these but they are too small. I wear a size 7.5 men, not at all large. But none of my pairs of shoes will fit. One single shoe yes, one pair... negative. The door will get jammed both by the shoe's width and height. Flip flops and sandals are fine but you won't be able to tetris your shoes in place and who wants to do that every time they put their shoes back. But the fact that these have slight pop out sliding mechanisms do make them useful for specific tasks. Are they flimsy...yes but I expected it to be so. Just know what you're getting them for. Smallish objects, not too heavy these would be great like art supplies, upper shelves where semi sliding out trays would be useful. that kind of thing.
