These are correctly proportioned and will perform the task, but I must comment on the lack of care in packaging and shipping from this manufacturer. I ordered several styles from this and another supplier to Wayfair, and found the care in finish and packing to be profoundly contrasting. These were thrown into a box without organization, and I received several damaged hangers in both shipments from this supplier, due to the haphazard packaging. Be prepared to discard a few.

The shape is weird, but they provide nice, wide support for jacket shoulders.
