I'm pretty handy and have put together many a piece of more complicated furniture so I'm no amateur. More hinge holes were drilled that necessary making it difficult to know which panel went where. Therefore the panels should be identified with number or letter stickers to avoid confusion. Also the Phillips head screws provided to attach the hinges (even with a new properly sized screwdriver require too much force and are prone to strip. I will need to buy smaller screws or enlarge the predrilled holes to properly install the hinges. So the effort required to put this simple piece together is excessive.
