If you have a ton of shoes- you definitely need this. This is one of the taller styles of shoe storage cabinets- and if you have the space- it’s definitely worth it. I had to subtract a star because quite honestly, the assembly is not ideal. First of all- there were holes missing where screws were supposed to go. And I did not assemble this wrong at all- I checked every side, every piece- there were a total of four holes missing. If you have power tools- no big deal. I drilled my own holes, but still, they should have been there. Also, in the very first step you have to hammer in some plastic pieces- now, I don’t know what the issue was- I followed the directions- but these plastic pieces were extremely difficult to get in, and they actually damaged some of the surrounding wood once I got them in there. The rest of the assembly wasn’t bad, installing the pull down drawers were super easy and straightforward, but the few beginning issues had me frustrated, so instead of finishing this in a couple of hours- I had to space it out over a couple of days. Once together though- I really like it. It definitely will hold more than 30 pairs. The shelves on the side are perfect for extra storage such as bags or even knee high boots. Having the hooks on the side for hanging bags is a bonus. I really like the aesthetic of this piece. Its’ simple, clean lines really mimic a farmhouse vibe, which I am a huge fan of. I love the black hardware against the stark white. The wood grain at the top is versatile enough to work with any wood you may have in the room. One thing to note- the back is not finished. If this isn’t against the wall you can see right into all the shoes. However, I wouldn’t recommend letting the back show anyway- as this is the type of piece that really should be anchored to the wall to prevent tipping. Although, I do believe this is a fairly sturdy piece- I wouldn’t trust it without anchors as you are pulling the drawers down and forward to access the shoes. Overall, I love the piece- but the assembly could have been better! But, if you have an abundance of shoes- this will definitely make your life easier!
